I have to admit that when Greg Phelps from Redrock Wealth Management contacted me about checking out his online virtual finance conference, the Wealth Summit, I was skeptical. I’ve been to my fair share of conferences and other virtual workshops that have cost a pretty penny. But, he said he had over 30 finance and money experts giving their very best advice and tips for free, I had to check it out. And, I wasn’t disappointed.
I saw a sneak peak at the Wealth Summit this past week, and I was very impressed! There’s an amazing amount of videos and presentations that can teach everyone, no matter your financial skill level, a thing or two. My boss at work would cringe to know how many hours I’ve sat at my computer watching these great videos from the likes of Miguel Gomez, CFP from Lauterbach Financial Advisors, Bill Holliday, CFP from AIO Financial, Andrew Thomas, CLU, ChFC from TIAA, and Andrew J. Patterson, CFA from Vanguard Senior Analysts, just to name a few.
These speakers that Greg has assembled are each highly successful in their own niche of the personal finance market. These videos run the gambit of personal finance, investing, insurance, and a lot more topics. And, these financial fiduciaries and industry experts provide some great insight anyone can use.
So, I’m excited to share this opportunity for a free mini-masters in personal finance from the Wealth Summit. I haven’t seen this great a group of presenters and topics since taking my own masters courses in personal financial planning from Kansas State University. So, be sure to grab your free ticket to the Wealth Summit now before the seats run out. Greg is only accepting 2,000 people into the conference to keep his bandwidth costs low.

Why Did Greg Phelps Start the Wealth Summit?
Greg created the Wealth Summit because he didn’t think there was enough good financial education available for the average American. He saw a lot of what looked like education disguised as product pitches and schemes. And, he set out to create the Wealth Summit to provide people with quality financial and investing advice in a unique and free format.
Greg says that he loves helping and educating people about finance. “I want to help them avoid the critically painful mistakes I’ve seen throughout the years, and honestly maximize and protect their personal wealth,” said Phelps.
“After 22 years of advising clients on money and planning, I wanted to spread a positive financial message, said Phelps. “[It’s] a message that ‘you can do this yourself! You can make the most of your money with the right approach and strategies in place.’”
Greg chose these speakers and their topics to help as many people as possible. This conference wasn’t designed only for Wall Street Insiders. The videos are for someone who needs and wants help in making the most of their wealth.
Greg Phelps, CFP®, CLU®, AIF®, AAMS® (That is an impressive slew of credentials, right?) is a CEFEX certified fiduciary financial advisor, speaker, author, and the creator of the Wealth Summit. Greg has helped thousands with his financial advisory practice, Redrock Wealth Management, but he wanted to have an even larger and even more positive impact on the world. And, that’s why he created the conference using technology to his advantage and thinking bigger than just his advisory practice.
What Personal Finance Topics Are Covered?
With over 30 hours of finance, investing, insurance, and other money topics covered, it’s hard to list them all. Looking through all the videos and topics covered, it really did seem like a cliff notes version of my master’s classes in financial planning, and now they’re all available online with the Wealth Summit.
Here are just a few of the great topics the conference covers over the eight days: where to invest your IRA and 401k savings, maximizing your tax-free Roth IRA and pre-tax IRA contributions, the factors that drive your investment returns, how to maximize and find the best return on investment, how to protect your nest egg, managing and minimizing your healthcare costs during retirement, creating a budget, inflation, the ins and outs of financial advisors and whether or not they’re really fiduciaries, and so much more.
One of my favorite topics from the Wealth Summit that I’ve loved watching was Greg Phelps and Benjamin Brandt’s discussion of the retirement rehearsal concept. Taking a mini retirement test drive is a topic that I’ve talked about and recommended to readers before. I’m also going to be discussing mini retirements and how to not hate your retirement on an upcoming podcast episode of Rock Your Retirement podcast.
During his presentation at the Wealth Summit, Benjamin Brandt, the founder and president of Capital City Wealth Management, discusses something similar to mini retirements when he describes how to rehearse your retirement using your vacation days. It’s estimated that over $50 billion of vacation time is unused and wasted in America, and we those days can put those days to better use with a retirement rehearsal.
It’s a great presentation and one that I highly recommend that you check out as soon as the Wealth Summit starts. Don’t be disillusioned with how you think you will spend your time in retirement. You’ve worked hard to retire, and you want to make the most of it. Brandt shared some great advice that everyone approaching retirement needs to hear.
