Free Meals On Veteran’s Day 2011

There are a lot of great restaurants around the country that are offering free meals on Veteran’s Day and other discounts this year. For a more detailed list on the Veteran’s Day free meals and other freebies, be sure to check out the great personal finance blog, The Military Wallet, which provides money tips and advice for members of the military, veterans, and their families.

Restaurants Offering Free Meals On Veteran’s Day 2011

  • Applebee’s
  • Chili’s
  • Denny’s
  • Golden Corral (free meal on Monday, Nov. 14th)
  • Champps Americana
  • Bar Louie
  • BJs Restaurant and Brewhouse
  • Hooters
  • Famous Daves
  • Sizzler Restaurant
  • Subway
  • TGI Friday’s
  • Texas Roadhouse
Some of these locations are offering a free meal when you purchase a separate one. Also, places like Outback Steakhouse are offering a free appetizer. Check your local restaurant locations to see exactly what they are offering and when.

Be sure to bring either your military identification card if you are on active duty, Reserves, National Guard, or retired. You can also bring a copy of your DD 214 to prove your service.

There are some really great deals out there this year. Each year the number of them keep increasing. I didn’t even list them all of course and there are some great local ones too around the different bases.

Good list! I used to love Denny’s in college. My wife won’t let me go near that place now. Denny’s is one of the best places to eat on the cheap.
