When you eat Paleo style, you’ll be able to enjoy plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables while also consuming lean meats and healthy fats. There are many different Paleo recipes available these days but one of my favorites is this simple Italian salad dressing recipe which I came up with after tasting something similar at a restaurant in Italy. The ingredients list for this Paleo diet dish isn’t long but the flavor will knock your socks off!
Paleo Diet Italian Salad Dressing Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. onion powder or dried minced onion
- 2 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. prepared mustard
Directions:
- Combine ingredients in a jar.
- Store tightly covered at room temperature or in the refrigerator
- Let the olive oil come to room temperature before serving
- Shake well before pouring.
